The house is well situated on a quiet street and is only 500 metres from Glenroy train station, close to the Ring Road and Citylink freeways and is only a 10-15 minute drive from the CBD. There"s also a bus stop close by that will take you to Broadmeadows shopping centre in 20 minutes (or about the same by train) and Glenroy shopping centre is a few minutes walk away. The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and also has a study that"s set up as a guest room. Off street parking is available in the driveway and there"s storage available in the garage. The house is furnished and has everything you might need. The living room has a 65" TV with a Chromecast and a good sound bar with sub, and is available for you to use. The kitchen is well-stocked and has just about every appliance you could think of.
The room available is the one I"ve drawn a rough red line around on the floor plan. It"s separate to the rest of the house and has its own bathroom and is also attached to the laundry. Its a large room that easily accommodates a queen bed and plenty of furniture as shown in the photos (the room is unfurnished, but I can provide some furniture if required). The room also has it"s own entry through a side gate if you prefer to use it.
Rent is $870 monthly and bond will be the same. If you"re interested as a couple, rent would be $1290. The monthly rent includes internet, but not bills. Bills are paid as they come in and are divided equally.
Anyone wanting to move in will need to apply to and be approved by our real estate agent.
As for us, we"re in our early 30s/late 20s. I work part-time, up to full-time hours, and I work mostly across the afternoons but I start work any time between 10am and 8pm so I"m often up late. Jess works full-time in the city. I have an 11 year old dog who loves everyone, but is more picky with other dogs. She doesn"t get on with female dogs but a calm, friendly male dog would probably be welcome. Cats aren"t welcome unfortunately as I"m allergic to them.
I play a lot of video games and I watch a lot of anime and TV. Jess plays less games, but definitely enjoys them as well. I have a board game collection and a custom gaming table in our living room to play on. In our free time we"re usually doing some form of gaming, or watching TV or otherwise hanging out. Jess and I do a lot of cooking and baking. There"s not much to us; we"re very uncomplicated. Our home welcomes everybody and we don"t discriminate against anyone. Having said that, we"re looking for someone responsible and mature minded, a similar-ish age to us, and who can clean up after themselves.
